* There will still be a need to coat a section of the 3D Print in Epoxy that isn’t included in this kit. It’s recommended to use  UV Resistant Clear Art Epoxy. Such as this one by JDiction.
Creation Steps:
- 3D Print the vase, lid, adapter (if using smaller pot inside 6 inch variant), electronics’ enclosure, electronics’ enclosure lid, water sensor holder. All printed in PETG or PET. - Coat certain parts of the vase in epoxy to prevent leaks. Specifically inside around the bottom where walls connect with bottom layers, the seam, and the pipes. Watch the video to see which sections. UV-Resistant art epoxy works best.
- Drill a hole inside the electronics box enclosure to fit the board inside and for the button to be accessible. Has to be around 13 mm off the top and 5 mm in diameter.
- Add a magnet to both the vase and the electronics enclosure to hold it. has to be around 45 mm from the top on the vase, and 24 mm on the box.
- Insert the electronics inside the enclosure, push the 12v male through the larger hole and then push it through to the other side through one of the threads. The thick black cable has to bend for the button to be accessible. Watch the video.

- Connect the 9V battery and push it inside the enclosure while carefully moving the cables to the side.
- Place the 12V aquarium pump inside the bottom section, and connect it to the top section using a (8mm ID) silicone tube. The length will depend on the size of the system. Pull the wire through the pipe with the hole to the outside.
- Connect the male and female 12v connectors, and magnetically attach the electronics enclosure to the vase.
- Plug in the water sensor to the board, and attach it to the vase, adjusting it to the desired level (has to be below the drain holes).
- Fill up the bottom section with water, then place the lid in between
- Run a trial watering cycle by holding the button down for 6 seconds. Make sure everything is working correctly, the water is filling up and stops when reaching the water sensor, and hovers around that level. Make sure there are no leaks.
- Place the orchid inside, using an adapter if needed.
